My wish is to have a three truck Climax with slide valve cylinders per the design of Bob Reedy that was presented in Live Steam magazine. Since the chassis I acquired was started as a Kozo Climax some changes have been required.
The drawing below shows a metal vestibule cab and slide valve cylinders on a three truck Climax. This is rare, but did exist as shown in this photo from the University of Washington Archives.
A further goal is to have a Radley-Hunter stack. This type of stack was widely used on coal burning locomotives to limit hot cinders escaping from the stack. The stack will be non-functional as far as capturing hot cinders and will have a straight stack inside the Radley-Hunter outline.
